1850 Colliery Records

The Glamorgan Record Office holds a large series of records relating to the coal industry, including records deposited by the National Coal Board. Only a small number of the records relate to the miners themselves, but there are photographs, plans, records of colliery disasters and other documents which can help us to trace the history of the coal industry and its impact on communities in the south Wales valleys.
